L.A. Int’l Textile Show Spring/Summer 2015, March 10-12

The Spring/Summer 2015 Los Angeles International Textile Show (LA TEXTILE) returns to the California Market Center March 10-12. The tradeshow offers hundreds of fabric and trim collections (see the exhibitor list here), and design services from around the world.

We often get questions about where designers and manufacturers can source fabrics in large quantities or if there is businesses specializing in sourcing and design services in the Fashion District. LA TEXTILE is the best place to find all of these resources and services concentrated in one area. We recommend attending to those who are just starting out and seasoned designers alike. It’s a great opportunity to source, research, and mingle with industry insiders.

Attendees are invited to take advantage of the complimentary seminar program which kicks off at 11 a.m. on March 10 with “Spring/Summer 15 Colors & Influencers” by Peclers Paris. In this session Peclers Paris deciphers the key influences for S/S 15 and translates them into creative scenarios facilitating new product development through the season’s key color, textures, prints, surfaces and innovation techniques inspiring all markets. Two to four seminars will be offered per day with topics ranging from sourcing and trends to marketing and licensing. The full seminar schedule can be found here.

Registration for the event is on-site. Admission is open and free to qualified industry professionals presenting credentials related to fashion/interior design, fashion/interior manufacturing, fabric, home textile, technology & trim retailers and press. Students and faculty are welcome but certain restrictions do apply. For identification requirements and admission information please visit the LA TEXTILE website.

We hope to see you at the opening night reception Monday, March 10 at the Penthouse, Suite 19, 5-7 p.m. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served to the sound of live beats by DJ Lead One and accompanied by an organic wine bar courtesy of Frey Vineyards.
