The Marketing Coordinator will work directly with the Marketing Manager to support the development and implementation of various marketing initiatives that promote the L.A. Fashion District and the non-profit organization that oversees its marketing, cleaning, and safety programs, the LA Fashion District Business Improvement District (BID). The Marketing Coordinator will also assist in the coordination and execution of BID events and manage the website and social media for

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist the marketing manager in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the drafting and scheduling of monthly e-newsletters
  • Create and curate content for social platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest
  • Manage social media platforms for L.A. Fashion District and The Santee Alley
  • Assist with planning an execution of BID events
  • Take and edit photos for blog, social media, and newsletters
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly marketing and status reports
  • Assist in creation and design of marketing collateral


  • 2-3 years marketing experience
  • Experience managing and creating content for social media accounts
  • Familiar with WordPress
  • Familiar with email distribution services like Constant Contact or MailChimp
  • Basic photography and photo editing skills
  • Familiar with social media management tools like Tweetdeck /Iconosquare
  • Familiar with Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram native analytics and Google Analytics is a plus

The LA Fashion District Business Improvement District (BID) is looking for marketing interns. Duties will cover a variety of marketing/PR roles, but will focus primarily on social media and creating content for the Fashion District blog.
