Fall is a very busy season around here. We have four market weeks and six trade shows coming up, starting at the end of September and going through mid-October. First up is the LA Gift & Home Market at the California Market Center (CMC) September 28-30, followed by the LA Int’l Textile Show September 29 – October 1, also at the CMC. With October comes LA Fashion Market, October 13-15, with select showrooms open on October 12 for Sunday preview and a series of trade shows running in conjunction with market week. LA Int’l Textile Show, September 29-October 1
The LA Int’l Textile Show is the West Coast destination for premier textile, design & production resources. Hundreds of fabric collections and design services from around the globe are showcased here, along with a Fall/Winter 15/16 trend forum and complimentary seminar program designed to inform and inspire.
LA Majors Market, October 6-8
Twice a year the LA Majors Market caters to buyers from the nation’s department, chain, and online stores. This market is by appointment only.
LA Fashion Market Spring 15, October 13-15 (with select showrooms open for preview October 12)
LA Fashion Market is Southern California’s premier trade show for contemporary apparel and accessories. The market is hosted five times a year in the district’s contemporary showrooms. The Fashion District BID maintains the market’s Lines Directory , which is updated prior to each market week. In addition to the permanent showrooms, the Fall and Spring market weeks boast six additional tradeshows: SELECT Premium & Contemporary Brands, TRANSIT Footwear & Accessories, LA Men’s Market, COEUR Accessories, Gifts, Home and Lifestyle Tradeshow, D&A (Designers and Agents), and the LA Kids Market. Showrooms will be debuting their Spring 2015 collections.
