New! LA County COVID-19 Rent Relief -- Tenants (renters whose name is listed on the lease or rental agreement) may apply starting August 17th by either calling 2-1-1, or filling out the online application form. Eligible renters must qualify based on income and have struggled to pay rent, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Their landlord must provide a W-9 and sign a participation agreement in order to have the rent paid on behalf of the tenant.

LA County Critical Delivery Service -- A temporary delivery program to deliver food and other vital items to individuals who are unable to leave their homes due to COVID-19

"Safer at Home" -- What You Need to Know -- To further combat the spread of COVID-19, Mayor Eric Garcetti issued a “Safer at Home” emergency order — ordering all residents of the City of Los Angeles to stay inside their residences, and immediately limit all movement outside of their homes beyond what is absolutely necessary to take care of essential needs

Temporary Moratorium on Evictions for Non Payment of Rent Due to COVID-19 Crisis -- To assist residential renters who have been economically impacted by the Coronavirus, the Mayor and the City Council have adopted tenant protections on evictions and rent increases in the City of Los Angeles 

Note: On Tuesday, July 21, the Board of Supervisors approved an extension of the temporary eviction moratorium. The moratorium was extended until September 30, 2020 and may be extended by the Board on a month to month basis. (New!)

Discounted Rides for Seniors and Mobility Challenged via ButterFLi -- Through a grant from LADOT, FASTLinkDTLA TMO and ButterFLi have partnered to provide discounted rides of $2 including a companion/caregiver rider
