4 Instagram-Worthy Murals in the Fashion District

Street Art has become a staple in major cities everywhere. Not only does it provide a “stop and stare” moment for those pedestrians passing by, but it allows the City to express itself culturally. There is no question that this public art movement is enhancing and beautifying our communities, but there has also been an unexpected effect that we did not anticipate. The ability to increase our presence on social media.

In this day and age, most people live for that perfect “Instagram-Worthy” photo. Luckily for us, in the LA Fashion District, we have much to Instagram – Alley Dogs from The Santee Alley, flowers from The Flower District, and now various murals that people can’t help but photograph.

This colorful piece by Teddy Kelly has been a smash hit ever since it’s inception in 2016. Inspiring an entire series of posts where visitors attempt to match portions of their wardrobe to the various colors of the mural.

New wall in downtown for @avenuedesarts_hk

Just finished in October 2018, this colorful mural was a part of Charlie Edmiston‘s first ever solo exhibition hosted at the art gallery, Avenue des Arts. The Sharp. exhibition involved joining vibrant colors and composition, making this mural the perfect backdrop for an Instagram photo.
