Did you know there is an entire area of the LA Fashion District dedicated to kids’ clothing? In fact, all of the district can be broken down into various sub-districts by product type, but kids’ clothing is primarily located along 12th Street and Pico Boulevard, between Maple Avenue and San Julian Street. Here you will find baby clothing and accessories, school uniforms, and special occasion clothing for boys and girls including flower girl dresses and boys’ suits and tuxedos.
Over half the vendors are wholesale-only but some do open to the public. Many of the businesses will put racks with their overstock items outside the store (similar to the ones pictured above) for retail shoppers. Select vendors may open to the public on Saturdays as well, though this varies by weekend. For more retail options we suggest the area around Maple Avenue , where the Santee Alley area meets the “Kid’s Wear” section. All of the stores on Maple Avenue are open to the public.
First time visiting the district? Download the LA Fashion District map here. You’ll want to head to the area labeled “Kid’s Wear”.
