The LA Fashion District Business Improvement District (BID) will celebrate Día de los Muertos this year by building a community altar to honor and celebrate the lives of deceased loved ones.
Community Altar: 10/25 - 11/2
Special Performances by Mariachi Las Catrinas: 10/26 & 10/27 (9am-11am)
Everyone is encouraged to participate by bringing photos and memorabilia of those they wish to remember. In addition to photos, participants are invited to bring loved ones’ favorite foods, beverages, and other objects of remembrance to place on the altar starting Friday, October 25th starting at 10am. Candles and cempasúchil (orange marigolds) will be provided.
