Where Do We Go From Here? is a public art installation that presents this essential question to the community and asks them to imagine what our collective destiny could and should look like. The installation displays the insights and perspectives of artists Janna Ireland and Ginger Q, who have crafted their responses to the prompt. We have also enlisted the platform Womxn In Windows to display commissioned works and solicit content and feedback from the community. We aim to begin a conversation that sparks self-discovery and expression in all who travel through, work, or reside in this community. We must empower the people whose lives are tied to the present and future of this district. As we begin to emerge from this chaotic and uncertain time, we must consider what comes next and build a vision in which we can all be reflected. This project is a step to encourage that dialogue and reflect the community's hopes back to itself.
