Take-out and Delivery Options for the Win!

It's been almost ten months since the LA Fashion District BID's administrative staff has shifted to working remotely. It's been an interesting change, with most of our marketing and communication efforts being spent updating all of you with important updates, information and helpful tips via our website, emails, and social media channels. Since we've transitioned to working remotely, we've made it our mission to continue to help and support the various Fashion District restaurants that are still operating. If you haven't yet, we encourage you to check out our "Support Local Dining" page which has an up-to-date list of restaurants in the district that offer take-out/delivery/curbside/gift cards. 

Now don't get us wrong, take-out and delivery have always been great options ...but they are now more than ever! Here are some reasons why we're loving the take-out and delivery options still available:

Convenience

Food delivered right to your door? Hello...can it get any better? And take-out. If you're an essential worker in the district and/or you're a district resident who's working from home, it's super simple to grab your phone, call your favorite Fashion District restaurant, place your order and stop by to pick it up -- you might even score a roll of toilet paper with your order! 

Supporting Local Dining

Patronizing district restaurants is a super easy way to support the LA Fashion District’s essential businesses right now. In addition to your fave foods and drinks (yes, alcoholic beverages are included), some offer the option to add on grocery items, gift cards or donations to help support their businesses and staff members. If possible, please tip generously – you can usually add a tip at pickup or through the delivery app/service.

Trying New Things

There's quite a few restaurants in the LA Fashion District and we bet you haven't been to at least half of them. We don't know about you, but we'll definitely be using our Support Local Dining page to try some new spots. Take-out and delivery options make this so easy!

P.S. 100% planning to visit more restaurants for dine-in once operations are back to normal ;)

Great Food & Even Better Service

Take-out and delivery hasn't affected the quality of food from our district's restaurants. They're still as delicious as ever!

A Safe Change of Scenery

Drives and outdoor walks are an opportunity to safely get out of the house. If you live within walking distance of a restaurant offering take-out, stretch your legs and walk on over. If you don't live within walking distance, plan to make a quick drive -- we hear the traffic isn't too bad these days. Don't tell us that Sonoratown isn't worth a 15-minute drive...yuuuummmm!

Yes...we've all been stuck in the house, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy some delicious food AND support our local businesses. Some of our current faves? Poppy + Rose, Vegan Hooligans DTLA, Zinqué and Wild Living Foods.
