Dear Valued Stakeholders,
The LA Fashion District BID has made the very difficult decision to suspend hosting all public meetings for the next 30 days, which includes the 2020 Annual Meeting that was scheduled to take place on March 19th.
The impact of Coronavirus continues to evolve rapidly around the world, and as leaders in DTLA, we feel responsible for the well-being of all of our stakeholders, attendees and our employees. We want you to know that your health is a top priority for us.
We are closely following the advice of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers For Disease Control And Prevention (CDC). Given that the spread of the virus is anticipated to escalate in the coming weeks, we feel strongly about doing our part to help flatten the curve and prevent this from spreading in our neighborhood and surrounding communities.
We will be taking all of the normal precautions (and more), to help prevent the spreading of germs throughout the district with our Clean & Safe Team operational procedures. We know you also value the health of others and ask that you please take the CDC’s recommended precautions if you suspect you might be coming down with even the faintest of colds.
During this time, it’s important we stick together and make decisions based on facts and not fear or paranoia. Our public meetings are a crucial part of communicating about the work that we do and we are committed to doing everything in our capacity to ensure that we’re providing both updated and accurate information as things progress.
